Celebrating its 60th birthday, there have been many iconic moments for the #Praise brand over the last six decades… and as it enters a new era, we’re calling on all Aussies to “Give it Some Mayo” and transform the ordinary into extraordinary in our every day lives. This new campaign, brought to life by our creative Marketing and Category team, in partnership with Connecting Plots and Initiative, aims to celebrate the legacy of Praise, whilst building on its position as a Category leader. Whether a salad needs saving, or you need to hit a spin bowl for a six, when you “give it some mayo” the possibilities are endless! So, join us in making this phrase a staple of Aussie vernacular, whilst celebrating what can happen when you “give it some mayo”. 🥗🏏 The new campaign was launched last week and across our sites we definitely “gave it some mayo” by recognising the people behind Praise; from those that manufacture our mayos and dressings, through to our R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Category and Marketing teams throughout Goodman Fielder. There is great excitement about this biggest launch yet…and we’re all very proud the work everyone has done to contribute. So, the only question is…how will YOU give it some MAYO? #giveitsomemayo #bettertogether #ownit #createclarity #collectivecuriosity #marketingactivation #praisemayo #60yearsofmayo #marketingcampaign #brandpartners #TeamGF

Some #wednesdaywisdom....did you know? Vinegar is one of the oldest fermented products, and it's history dates back to around 5000 B.C.E. in Babylon. You may be thinking, I didn't know (and I'm not sure I needed that fact 🤣)! Well, at Goodman Fielder we really care about vinegar, and that's because we run one of Australia's largest vinegar plants...🤯 📍 Located in Camellia, NSW our plant has the capacity to produce approximately 12 million litres of vinegar per year! 🏭 Built in 1957 by Mauri Bros, the plant was acquired by Goodman Fielder in the early 90's. 🍞 Our vinegar is used as a natural preservative in the baking industry...yep, that includes our Wonder and Helga's brands. 🥒 It's also a key ingredient in most sauces, condiments, culinary and the pickling industry, yep that means it's key in all our Praise mayos and dressings. 🍺 We also accept beer (that cannot be sold or consumed) as a base to commence the fermentation of our vinegar! The site is run by a small but very dedicated team, and is also a key stop on our employee Site Tour; building opportunities for our team to learn from; exchange ideas; and collaborate together. Recently we have had teams from People & Culture and Finance visit our team at Camellia.... and the reviews are in, with the site tour getting top marks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Shout out to PRADEEP ADHIKARI, and the entire Camellia team for your passion, knowledge and for helping everyone fall in love with vinegar.💚 #bettertogether #vinegarproduction #employeesitetours #ownit #wisdomwednesday #employeeexperience

We love seeing our teams connect with the communities where we live and work... Over the last week, members of our Goodman Fielder and Goodman Fielder Food Service teams have been supporting a number of cultural celebrations for Durga Puja throughout October. Shout out to Ara Pararajasingham, Deb Bhattacharya, Apurva Seth and Debasree Das (Debs) for their involvement in these important celebrations... from cooking and serving the masses with Fortune Rice and Atta; through to set-up and creating connection within local communities, we #loveyourwork.🍚❤️🎊 #bettertogether #communitypartnership #foodasforceforgood #fortunericeandatta
Over the last week, we’ve proudly partnered with several cultural celebrations under our Fortune brand. Durga Puja is a major Hindu festival celebrated annually by the Bengali community, where many people come together to celebrate, worship, dance and rejoice. In Auburn, NSW Goodman Fielder Food Service supported the Bengali Association NSW at their 49th celebration of Durga Puja, held from 9-13 October. The event took place at Auburn Youth Centre and across the festival, members of our team including Deb Bhattacharya, helped cook for over 5000 people across the festival, using our Fortune Basmati Rice & Fortune Atta. In Wyndham, VIC and in partnership with IndClub, which comprises families residing primarily in western suburbs of Melbourne within the Wyndham City Council, the flagship event of Wyndham Durga Utsav, also known as Durga Puja, was held on 12-13 October and attracted close to 2000 people! This year, Wyndham Durga Puja celebrated its 10th anniversary and Fortune was a proud sponsor of this very important cultural event; one of the most renowned Durga Puja in Melbourne. Further north, Fortune also partnered with the Bengali Society of Queensland for their 27th annual Durga Puja celebration. With over 700 people attending over the course of the weekend, it was an amazing event to be part of. Thank you to our awesome team, particularly Deb Bhattacharya, Apurva Seth, Ara Pararajasingham and Debasree Das (Debs) for connecting our Fortune brand with such important cultural celebrations across the country. #durgapuja2024 #communitypartnership #fortuneatta #fortunerice #communitysponsorship

Making everyday food better for everyone is at the heart of Goodman Fielder Australia. By better, we mean: ✔ Great tasting; ✔ Accessible; ✔ Affordable; ✔ Sustainable; and importantly ✔ Nutritious. Which is why we’re proud to release our 2024 Nutrition Policy which will guide the work we do across our brands and products to drive greater nutrition outcomes for our organisation, and more importantly our consumers. Read our Nutrition Policy HERE>> https://lnkd.in/gjDRpgEa As a #foodmanufacturer with more than a century of creating food and brands that Aussies love, our updated #NutritionPolicy provides greater guidance and public-facing commitments to drive our future approach. Simon Eagar - Head of R&D at Goodman Fielder Australia, sums it up perfectly… “Our goal with our nutrition policy was to take a holistic approach across our whole portfolio of products by establishing targets to build on the great momentum we have made in improving the nutrition profile of our products… We have already made some excellent progress in reformulation and the adoption of the Health Star Rating, particularly around our loaf and wrap products”. So how are we going on our mission?… we reckon we’re doing pretty well! In Australia, we’ve hit our milestone of 500 tonnes of sodium removed from our Helga's and Wonder bread ranges, which means 30%* less sodium in every Wonder and Helga’s sandwich made and put into Australian lunchboxes. 🥪💚😋 Our recent launch of the Wonder 5 Star bread range, developed especially to achieve a 5-star health rating, is proving to be a great success; showing when we put nutrition at the core of product development, we align to our purpose of making everyday food better for our consumers. *based on a meaningful reduction of 100mg sodium per sandwich. #nutritionpolicy #improvingnutrition #bettertogether #ownit #collectivecuriosity #createclarity #nutritionatthecore #consumerfocus #healthierchoices
