Well, that was a big week... The Givewrap team had the honour of being invited to the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and the annual Business Leader’s Summit in Canberra – and WOW, what an experience! We were incredibly proud to be chosen to represent the next wave of Aussie startups making a mark on the global stage. We were in great company, sitting alongside a handful of inspiring brands that are pushing boundaries and making a real impact as they continue to grow. In just 18 months, Givewrap has exploded, thanks to our incredibly passionate and loyal customers (you guys are the BEST!) and our ever-growing fanbase on social media. We've now hit 190K followers on Instagram and over 150 million views on TikTok. And the icing on the cake? Turns out that the Prime Minister of Australia is a huge supporter of Givewrap too! Big shoutout to you, Anthony Albanese – you rock! A massive thank you to Amazon for the invite and to everyone who made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to be back for the next one! About us
Givewrap is no ordinary gift wrapping paper. When you buy someone a gift, and you wrap it in Givewrap, proceeds from the wrapping paper are given to charity. So with Givewrap, you Give Twice - to someone you love, and to someone in need. 🎁🎁 Our goal isn't to create a good, little business, that does a little bit of good. We want to transform the $31 billion gift wrapping industry and divert huge amounts of this money to charities, all around the world. We are on a mission to change the way people give gifts, forever. Currently, Givewrap gives to RSPCA NSW, Starlight Children's Foundation, Children's Cancer Institute Australia and Gotcha4Life. In the future, we plan to give to many, many more.

In July this year, our start-up hit the jackpot! After a nail-biting pitch process filled with stiff competition, Givewrap was accepted into the prestigious UNSW Founders 10X Accelerator program. Fast forward 4 months, and the whirlwind program has wrapped up. It was hard work, but it was definitely worth it. Over ten weeks, we soaked up expert mentorship, powerful business tools, and a whopping $100k in seed investment. A huge shoutout to our fellow Founders for being as delightful as they are brilliant. Special thanks to our incredible Program Manager, Sasha W. - your awesomeness knows no bounds! And to our mentor Anna Trybocka, who is basically a genius: you made us realise we should've paid more attention in school. Who knew you could learn so much in just 10 weeks?! At just 18 months old, Givewrap has already seen remarkable growth, and thanks to the UNSW team, that growth has been accelerated. Stay tuned - we’ve got more big news coming your way! #UNSWDemoDay #UNSW #StartUp #MakeImpact #SocialEnterprise #Innovation Michelle Tirtabudi Ant Hatton Hans Christian Berents Trish Pegorer Adam Wilkinson Paul Curnow Andrew Wegman David Burt JP Daneel Dina Titkova Beste Onay Mitchell Harmer Jesse Waller Matt Gordon Harriet Farlow Leigh Stamation Lee Walsh Howjer Gu Rushi
