Patricia Carnovale was the 2020 Fairfield City Women’s Day Award winner. Patricia is a dedicated vet surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in her field. Immigrating to Australia as a child with English as a second language, she pursued her passion in helping animals, attaining a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree, and setting up her own clinic in Abbotsbury. Council would like to take the opportunity to thank our committed members of the Fairfield Environmental Volunteer community for their hard work for the environment! They do an awesome job of keeping our City green and clean. This year, we treated 55 volunteers with a guided walk to the Fairfield Indigenous Flora Park along with yummy festive food to celebrate their successes this year. We also had a South American musician with us to add a Latin vibe.
