"The TTC faced complex challenges in managing its transition to fleet electrification. The number one priority is always ensuring that they can deliver the service for the public who need to use the services to keep the community running. There is still uncertainty in the deployment of electric buses, so providing a way to ensure every vehicle is charged to meet every duty is the top priority. As more vehicles are added this becomes more and more complex, and we have to move from providing clarity and information to providing recommendations and insights and delivering automation." Electrifying Perth’s largest e-bus depot! ⚡️🚍 Kempower, Australian sales and service partner Charge Hub Australia, and local installer Addelec Power Services Pty Ltd are teaming up to power Western Australia’s Malaga bus depot, which will be equipped to handle up to 110 electric buses. To ensure the buses are fully charged overnight and ready by morning, the hub will be feature Kempower Power Units, offering up to 5MW of total power distributed to 50 double-output and 10 single-output Kempower Satellites 🤩 "Kempower’s chargers proved flexible, robust and powerful enough to meet the high standards required by a large and busy e-bus hub, and the team’s expertise will be instrumental in helping us complete the work quickly, efficiently and with minimal disruption. Charge Hub’s success comes down to early engagement and open dialogue between us, Kempower, installation partners and engineers, and the customer, operating the depot", says Paul Guy, Managing Director at Charge Hub.
