The doors are officially open at The Morris 🥂 Last week we welcomed back our guests to their local (on Whadjuk Noongar country) formerly known as The Saint, and what a week it's been. Reconnecting with it's roots, the team has brought back the original name of The Morris, where the uniquely Perth atmosphere is prevalent in every corner of the brand new space. A complete renovation see's a brand new sports bar (with a huge big screen to catch all the action), a hall and courtyard come to life, with a refreshed menu dedicated to celebrating the best of the west produce and local suppliers 🦐 Plus, the kids are covered with a number of snack-type sides to go with their main which gives them the freedom to eat at their own pace. "The Saint has played an invaluable role for the community for many years, we're thrilled to be able to return the local icon to its former glory, reintroducing the original name of The Morris. We’ve been super busy revamping The Guildford Hotel recently in conjunction with the construction of the new Vaudeville Theater next door! Here are some photos of the new vibes together with the launch of Vaudeville Theater! Back in the late 1890’s, The Vaudeville Theater was a very popular social venue staging concerts and performances. Guests would stop by The Guildford for pre-show drinks before heading next door to see a performance such as The Sleeping Beauty. Today, Australian Venue Co. has revived this famous heritage building to recapture that vibe, thus the name Vaudeville Theater. It’ll be nice to see production companies taking the stage again with performances in this space! It has been fun collaborating with the team to furnish this great hall in conjunction with the rest of the venue and we’re excited with the results!
