It’s always fulfilling to see the right talent placed in the right role. This recent testimonial is a great example of Adam Maravillas' ability to identify potential and make connections that truly benefit both the candidate and the client. By encouraging the candidate to step out of their comfort zone, Adam ensured they were matched with an opportunity where their skills could make a meaningful impact—and the feedback from both sides speaks for itself. #RecruitmentSuccess #TalentMatch #PositiveOutcomes

Australia's Technology Workforce: The Road Ahead 🌟 Australia’s tech workforce has reached an incredible milestone of one million workers in 2023, growing by 60% over the past decade! Yet, we still face a significant challenge: the demand for tech workers is expected to skyrocket, requiring 1.3 million technology professionals by 2030. That’s an additional 52,000 tech workers annually. Despite tech’s rapid growth (5% annually, double the broader workforce's rate), ACS (Australian Computer Society) and Deloitte's latest Digital Pulse report highlights alarming barriers to meeting this demand: 👉 Declining student interest in IT courses, with university enrolments dropping 10% in 2022. 👉 Only 10% of school students are interested in tech careers, with gender disparity persisting. Boys are four times more likely than girls to consider a career in tech. 👉 Near-tech workers (those with transferable skills) represent a 1.1 million-strong talent pool, yet fewer are transitioning into full tech roles. To tackle these challenges, the report calls for bold actions, including: ✅ Shorter, cheaper, targeted courses to reskill and upskill workers efficiently. ✅ Recognizing prior experience to fast-track pathways into tech. ✅ Bridging the gap between near-tech roles and full tech opportunities to unlock untapped talent. The time to act is now. With the tech industry contributing $124 billion to the Australian economy in FY23, the opportunity is immense—but so is the responsibility to nurture the next generation of talent. 💡 Call to Action 💡 If you’re passionate about shaping Australia’s digital future, whether you're an aspiring tech professional, a near-tech worker considering reskilling, or a company seeking top talent, connect with us at Digital Resources Australia Pty Ltd. Let’s work together to close the skills gap and build a tech workforce ready for 2030. #DigitalPulse #TechnologyWorkforce #FutureOfWork #Upskilling #Reskilling #DigitalCareers #DigitalResourcesAustralia #TechTalent https://lnkd.in/ge5qwCGS

🪓 Team Bonding with a Twist! 🪓 Our team recently took a break from the usual office routine to channel our inner Vikings at MANIAX Axe Throwing! 🎯 Not only was it an adrenaline-pumping experience, but it was also a great way to build teamwork, trust, and a little friendly competition. Luke Iustini and Natalie Ludwig had a natural affinity to it... while Hazel K. and Adam Maravillas looked the part but will need a bit more practice... Whether it’s nailing that perfect throw or cheering each other on, it was the perfect mix of fun and bonding. A big shoutout Dylan for showing the team the way. If you're looking for a unique way to bring your team together, we highly recommend giving axe throwing a shot! #TeamBonding #AxeThrowing #WorkHardPlayHard #FunAtWork #TeamSpirit
