Kindergarten teacher Sahay Moo Soe says working in early childhood teaches you how to find pleasure in ‘every little moment in life’. ‘Whether it is a child learning to put their shoes and socks on or write their name for the first time — it’s a lot of work being a kindergarten teacher, but there is always a day where something amazing happens,’ she adds. Watch her inspiring journey from a refugee camp to earning an Early Childhood Scholarship and working at Victoria University Children’s Centre in Werribee. #EarlyChildhoodScholarship #Kinder

Meet Jyah Chatfield, 18, from Warrnambool College. Jyah is a First Nations student who completed his VCE Vocational Major studies this year. For the past two years, he’s been balancing school with his traineeship at the Warrnambool ANZ bank, working one day a week and earning a Certificate II in Workplace Skills. When he’s not pursuing his passion for “commercial awareness”, Jyah is kicking goals on the field. Besides playing football for the Warrnambool Clontarf Academy, Jyah is a mentor for younger First Nations boys, encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves. Next year, Jyah is starting a full-time traineeship at the bank through the AFL SportsReady program. He’ll also be studying for a Certificate III in Business. #TheEducationState #VCEResultsDay #YourWorldYourVCE
