As we wind down and reflect on this year’s achievements, one project stands out for its scale, complexity, and impact: our partnership with Coles to support their automated Customer Fulfilment Centres in VIC and NSW. In 2024, we built and delivered 380 bespoke vehicles to enable efficient last-mile grocery deliveries—an achievement we are incredibly proud of. This milestone reflects our commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and supporting the evolving needs of our customers. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved and wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in 2025. 🔋 The recycling and lifecycle management of electric vehicle (EV) batteries is gaining prominence as the electrification industry continues to evolve. At Custom Fleet, sustainability remains a core focus of our mission. To deepen our understanding of this critical topic, we engaged in a Q&A with Graeme Cochrane from infinitev. Graeme sheds light on Infinitev’s innovative approach to promoting the sustainable reuse, repurposing, and recycling of EV batteries, ensuring they contribute to a circular economy, and minimise the environmental impact of EV batteries. In the second year of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we've made significant progress toward reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Key achievements include launching Cultural Protocol Guidelines, continued cultural training, a partnership with Supply Nation to increase Indigenous supplier diversity, a Yarning Circle for our Executive Team, and an anti-racism workshop for our leaders. A big thanks goes to the incredible team at the Killara Foundation and Jillian West - your partnership is very special to our Custom Fleet crew and we look forward to building on our progress to achieve Custom Fleet's vision for reconciliation in 2025. 🚗🌱 Recently we launched the 2024 Global Electrification Report: Accelerating Fleet Decarbonisation in collaboration with our parent company Element Fleet Management. The latest coverage of the report in The Australian Financial Review looks at the increasing momentum of electric vehicles (EVs) adoption in Australia. For many businesses, navigating this transition will be a critical focus in the years ahead. We're proud to be supporting our customers with their EV journeys. As our President, Chris Tulloch, explains in our latest feature article: “Every business will have their own key objectives, whether they be about sustainability, financial priorities, or a combination of both. We’re here to support them every step of the way.” Our 2024 Accelerating Fleet Decarbonisation regional spotlight offers practical recommendations to help Australian businesses take meaningful steps toward electrifying their fleets. From creating tailored roadmaps to leveraging telematics data and starting with small-scale EV deployments, these insights are designed to empower decision-makers to confidently take action. 📝 Read the full article on The Australian Financial Review: https://lnkd.in/eznpDfeF 📝 Download the regional spotlight from our website: https://lnkd.in/g3S367Ue #sustainability #mobility #fleetmanagement #decarbonisation #fleettransition #fleetemissions #customfleet #elementfleetmanagement

We are Generation BE! Last week our diverse crew of people leaders from across ANZ came together in Melbourne for our annual Leadership Conference and Grand Prix Awards night. The theme for this year's conference was Generation BE. We worked on what we need to BE as a business and who we need to BE as leaders to lead a regenerative future from the inside out. We spent valuable time together co-creating our next generation of leadership to change the game and regenerate ourselves to become the most customer centric mobility ecosystem. What we learned... 1️⃣ We are part of an incredible global organisation with a purpose to Move the World Through Intelligent Mobility – this enables our local strategy of Driving a Regenerative Future. 2️⃣ There is no winner in business – we are playing the infinite game and need to continually evolve to stay relevant. 3️⃣ The power of collaboration and collective accountability in action – these capabilities can be harnessed to achieve great things together, as one team. 4️⃣ Be like a jazz band, not an orchestra – we need to lean into ambiguity, have fun playing with lots of ideas, focus on learning, not blame, and step-in to support each other when the chips are down Thank you to the amazing team from Neu21 - Andrew Jones, Martine Sholl and Hannah Gee - for bringing their best, and our incredible photographer, Bianca Tuckwell, who captured many special moments. A big shout out also goes to the team at Corporate Challenge Events who facilitated our charity bike building session for The Sixth Child. We were humbled to hear the bikes we built will be sent to local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids for whom a special Christmas present is often not a reality. Our inspiring 2 days together was capped off by celebrating the best of Custom Fleet for 2024 at our annual Grand Prix Awards.
