We have been caring for Western Australians as they age for more than 50 years. Our first priority is your happiness and well being and we are committed to creating an environment of love, trust and respect. Our innovative approach to aged care has won us numerous awards and this is testimony to our dedicated approach to positive ageing. We operate seven residential aged care facilities and four independent living villages – in Belmont, Bunbury, Duncraig, East Perth, Guildford, Joondanna and Wilson.

  • What an amazing win. The Catholic Homes Team are the Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare IHHC National Project of the Year Award winners for 2024. A huge achievement by all our passionate and committed team. Stephanie Ellwood and Damiano Montagnese pictured below accepted the award on behalf of the whole team who deliver the outcomes of this great project every day across our residences.   • The Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare IHHC Culinary Competition was back for its third year and we couldn't be prouder of the Catholic Homes - Western Australia team. Antonio and Paolo from our residence at Castledare Village took out first place for their dish of Maryland Delight Stuffed Chicken. Pictured below with our amazing Manager Hotel Services Damiano Montagnese and Stephanie Ellwood, Care Model Coordinator. Well Done Team!

  • We are excited to announce that Vicky Moriarty has joined us in the newly created role of Lead – Learning and Capability here at Catholic Homes.   Vicky is an experienced learning and organisational development professional with a passion for the health and aged care sectors. With a strong grounding as a generalist HR Practitioner before specialising in the learning and capability space, Vicky has held senior roles with Nestle, Silver Chain and Purple. In most recent years as an L&D/OD specialist, Vicky has led the design and implementation of both technical/clinical and leadership development programs including designing the first Leadership Development Program in Australia for the Royal College of General Practitioners (RACGP).   In her role with Catholic Homes, will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of clinical, technical and leadership development programs that will enable and support high-quality care and service delivery outcomes across our services. Welcome Vicky, great to have you onboard.

  • We are excited to share that Krupa Shah who will join us as Head of Residential Care at Catholic Homes. Krupa is highly regarded in our industry and has 15 years’ experience in the health and aged care sectors. She brings a unique blend of operational leadership, strategic planning, and financial management expertise which will be invaluable to Catholic Homes. An experienced healthcare consultant in the UK and Australia, Krupa possesses the strong analytical and strategic skills needed to enhance operational performance, financial productivity, and workforce efficiency. With an innate sense of service and social responsibility, she believes her personal values which she applies to every aspect of her professional endeavours align with our values of joy, love and hospitality. In her most recent role as a Regional General Manager for Regis Residential Aged Care in Western Australia she has led teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, enhance service delivery, and improve overall care quality. We warmly welcome Krupa to the Catholic Homes Team.

  • Welcome to Stephanie Pyle who has joined Catholic Homes as our new Head of People & Culture.   Stephanie brings a wealth of experience across both operational and strategic people & culture management, with a particular niche for industrial relations and advocacy. Stephanie has led multidisciplinary People & Culture teams in both consulting and internal capacities, most recently as Manager – People & Culture for Senses WA (a leading WA disability services provider). We are excited about the contribution Stephanie will make to Catholic Homes as a leading aged care provider in Western Australia.

  • We recently hosted our Annual Olympic Games. Friendly but fierce competition between our aged care residences. Joy, our official mascot welcomed our competitors! The games officially began with the torch relay. Well done to the Sister Mary Glowrey Shooting Stars, who banded together and took home the well-deserved trophy on their first time in the competition! 🏆 The Trinity Tigers were close behind taking up second position and Archbishop Goody Premiers went home with bronze! Congrats to our MVP of the day Lily from St Vincent's with 210 points! 🏅 Special mention to the best cheer squad of the day the St Vincent's Vignerons who even made up their own chant! 📣 Well done to all our teams, we are already excited for next year.

    The IHHC extends congratulations to the winners of our WA Branch Excellence Awards: Values in Action Award winner Nardeen Leppinus from Fiona Stanley Fremantle Group; Advocacy Award winner Monika, represented at our awards night by Genaveve Palmer; Brightest Star winner Ashwani Kumar from Catholic Homes; Project of the Year award winners Catholic Homes; and Leadership Award winner Damiano Montagnese from Catholic Homes. All winners now compete for the National Award titles to be announced at this year's IHHC National Conference in Perth this November - hope to see you all there!
