Set against the peaceful backdrop of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, for Nature’s Retreat, developed by Ingenia Communities, BOWERBIRD was tasked to create vibrant, welcoming communal spaces that would serve as an extension of the residents’ homes, offering comfort and functionality while fostering a sense of belonging. https://lnkd.in/g9aRBWw6

💬 “I could never work with my partner!” – It’s something we hear often, and truth be told, leading a business together does have its challenges. But building BOWERBIRD alongside Lauren has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Lauren is the yin to my yang. We might have different approaches, and there are definitely tense moments, but we’ve found a rhythm that works. We stay in our lanes, respect each other’s strengths, and share the same core values - that keeps us grounded. For us, it’s about more than just growing a business – it’s about creating opportunities for others and building something bigger than ourselves. Above all else, it’s about knowing that, whatever happens, we have each other’s backs. That’s a partnership I wouldn’t trade for anything. (And yes, that's an image of Lauren pretending she is interested in my opinion on some finishes 👀 )
