Last week, Bosch eBikes kicked off summer at the Ignition MTB Festival in Falls Creek, transforming the ski resort into a mountain biking paradise. The Oceania eBikes team partnered with OEM brands including Canyon Bicycles GmbH, COMMENCAL BIKES & SKIS, CUBE Bikes, FOCUS Bikes, Norco Bikes, ORBEA, and Santa Cruz Bicycles to deliver the popular #FeelTheFlow demo rides. The demo featured a challenging 1.9 km technical climb, showcasing the #UphillFlow experience, followed by a smooth 2.2 km descent back to the expo village. An incredible event showing what Bosch eBikes are made of!

Last week, Bosch Motorsports had an exciting presence at the 2024 Supercars Championship at the iconic VAILO Adelaide 500, held at Adelaide Street Circuit. Adrian Conder and Phoebe Hewson from the motorsport team showcased the latest technology in motorsport electronics with a champion racecar and popular products on display under the Bosch Motorsport marquee. They engaged with attendees, hearing about their special project cars and sharing insights about our product range. It was an incredible event for Bosch Motorsports to be a part of and added a brand-new dimension to the fan-favourite Bosch Power Tools & Accessories Australia & New Zealand activation that's been a mainstay of Supercars events this year.

🎓 One of the perks of being a student at Bosch is the opportunity to volunteer and be part of the Student Committee. Each week, eight students (with room for more!) come together to discuss social initiatives aimed at fostering connections among Bosch employees. Recently, the team organised the Bathurst Simulator Challenge and Mini Bosch Games with prizes up for grabs, which were a huge success! In addition to these events, they also focus on improving existing student programs and providing valuable feedback to the HR team. This gives students both autonomy and responsibility, allowing them to make a meaningful impact within the organisation. Kim Aichelberger, an exchange student from Bosch Germany, spent the last three months working in the corporate communications team at Bosch HQ in Melbourne. We loved having Kim and enjoyed exchanging cultural insights between Germany and Australia. "In Australia, I was able to further develop my communication skills and learn a lot about corporate communications. It was particularly fun to actively plan, participate, and create content for events," Kim said. She has studied in the USA and Finland and believes that these short stints "strengthen your flexibility and adaptability." "What I particularly like is not just discovering countries as a tourist for a short time but really living there, exchanging ideas with the locals, and getting to know everyday life in a different culture. That's what I enjoy the most, and that's where you learn the most," she added. We were incredibly lucky to have Kim in the corporate communications team and are thankful for all the contributions she made during her time here. Come back and visit us soon!

🌟 Meet Jennifer Tran, a dedicated marketing student at Bosch, who is balancing her final year of studies while gaining invaluable experience in our Manufacturing Solutions business. Reflecting on her journey, Jennifer shares, "Bosch is truly exceptional. The supportive environment and incredible people have made my experience unforgettable. I've received unwavering support from colleagues across all departments." For those considering a role at Bosch, Jennifer offers this advice: "Focus on showcasing your skills and experiences. Remember, no one expects you to have everything figured out from the start." With an organised student program in place designed to provide valuable hands-on experience, foster skill development, and create a pipeline for future talent, Bosch is the perfect place to start 🚀 https://lnkd.in/eCHrhWa6
