Diversity and inclusion are very important to us at BAI, and we continue to explore ways to incorporate inclusion at work to benefit employee health and wellbeing, innovation, and organisational performance. We are also looking at how we extend activities with our partners, such as the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA). The CPA ‘Lifestyles’ program sees its clients supported to enjoy a range of social and/or recreational activities. Lifestyles provides purposeful and meaningful opportunities for individuals living with Cerebral Palsy to achieve their goals. In celebration of the festive season, Lifestyles clients came together in Sydney last week to enjoy a special Christmas Party hosted by CPA staff and their wonderful volunteers, which included members of the BAI team. “We had a wonderful experience volunteering and truly enjoyed our time. We learnt that the birth prevalence of cerebral palsy in Australia has declined by almost 40% over the two decades to 2015–2016, reflecting the effects of advances in maternal and perinatal care and other public health interventions. A great example of the impact of CPA support. I am completely immersed in the Christmas spirit now!” said BAI's Andreia Passos. We are committed to making the communities we serve a better place. At BAI, paid charity and volunteer leave is available to our people each calendar year to become actively involved in their local communities. #CerebralPalsyAlliance #ConnectingCommunities

About us
BAI Communications is bringing fresh, independent thinking to the connectivity landscape for broadcasters, governments, mobile network operators, private enterprises, transport, and venues. Operating one of the most extensive broadcast networks in the world, we deliver fully managed television and radio services covering 99% of the Australian population. In times of crisis, such as natural disasters, national broadcasters rely on BAI to maintain their communications with Australians, and emergency services trust us to keep them connected and informed. With the acceleration of 5G technology, BAI leverages its global experience to enable ubiquitous coverage in buildings, tunnels, stadiums and other congested hard to cover areas, as well as contributing to the creation of smart precincts. Having grown from its origins in Australia, BAI Communications now operates as a separate organisation in the Northern Hemisphere, Boldyn Networks. With full support of our common majority shareholder, CPP Investments, and minority shareholder, AIMCo (Alberta Investment Management Corporation), we remain closely aligned, and will leverage the shared history and experience of Boldyn as we look to create a digital future for Australia.

This 1880s lighthouse on remote #KingIsland, TAS, shines a bit brighter today thanks to another upgrade to the #ABCLocalRadio service. The Government Funded #BroadcastResilience program has enhanced the service with a new backup satellite input, providing increased stability amidst the island's ever-changing weather systems. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated installers, designers, and project teams for completing over 100 upgrades in Australia's regional communities over the past two years. Truly remarkable work.
