AMA SA President's Rural Tour continues as Dr John Williams visited Kangaroo Island where he met with local doctors at the Kangaroo Island Medical Clinic. There was discussion around challenges securing a medical workforce on the Island, and the initiatives the Kangaroo Island Medical Clinic have been taking to strengthen the local workforce. Practice Owner, Dr James Doube said "the KI community was very fortunate to be one of only a handful of regional locations to still have resident local GPs, instead of just visiting GPs."
