🚙⚡ From Analog to Digital: Transforming the LandCruiser ⚡🚙 It was an exciting day yesterday at Australian EVS as we removed the diesel engine from our Landcruiser EV build. - seeing the two drivetrains side by side really shows us why the future is EV. 🔧 Why convert? Power Upgrade: Diesel: 150 kW | 580 Nm EV Conversion: 375 kW | 1,740 Nm 🚀 Efficiency & Sustainability: Zero emissions without compromising on capability. Circular Economy: Lowest carbon impact from reusing existing vehicle with their already embedded emissions. This transformation highlights the huge potential of EV conversions— whether that is converting a classic car or a specialist commercial vehicle we believe conversions will play a significant role in the transition to EV. 🔋 Interested in future-proofing your fleet or classic car? Let’s chat about what EV conversions can do for your business or personal needs. 📸 Swipe to see the team and the progress so far! #EVConversions #ElectricVehicles #Sustainability #FleetElectrification #Innovation #DrivingEVTransformation

🚗⚡ Accelerating Australia’s EV Transition: 3 Key Trends ⚡🚗 An early Christmas present from the Electric Vehicle Council with their State of EVs Report 2024 highlights exciting progress and key opportunities for Australia’s electrification journey. Here are three of the standout insights: 1️⃣Electric Trucks: With 18 models available, including new heavy-duty options, freight operators have more choices than ever—but regulatory barriers like outdated mass and width limits still restrict their full potential. 2️⃣Public Charging Networks: There are 1,849 high-power public EV chargers across Australia, a 90% increase in locations since last year. This growth supports the expanding EV fleet, but there’s still a need to fill charging gaps. 3️⃣ Grid Connections: Grid constraints remain a significant hurdle for fleet operators, particularly in high-density areas. Access to sufficient grid capacity is often awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, emphasising the need for early planning and collaboration with network operators to future-proof charging infrastructure. Australian EV Specialist's take: The EVC report shows that momentum is growing, and we think 2025 is going to be the year that fleet electrification really takes off in Australia. Vehicle availability, incentives, mandatory sustainability reporting, integrated home charging solutions and a critical mass of public charging infrastructure will remove barriers, and more organisations will realise that going EV is an opportunity not a cost. Ready to electrify your fleet in 2025? Let’s chat! #EVFleets #FleetElectrification #ElectricVehicles #Sustainability #ZeroEmissions #ElectricVehicleCouncil Download the report: https://lnkd.in/dZVC4ch2
