As a highly respected mentor, he dedicated his life to his apprentices. His generosity of spirit and commitment to nurturing talent inspired countless chefs and food enthusiasts. He will be remembered not only for his skill and expertise but also for the warmth and kindness he shared with everyone he encountered. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Funeral details are as follows. The Australian Culinary Federation is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Keith McNeil. Keith was a highly respected mentor, a master of his craft, and a gentleman whose influence and generosity touched many lives. His dedication to the food industry and his passion for sharing knowledge have left an enduring legacy. ACF President Karen Doyle reflects, “Keith made an extraordinary contribution to our industry and proudly represented Australia at the 1988 Culinary Olympics, where his talent and commitment shone brightly. His kindness, professionalism, and love for his craft will remain an inspiration to all who knew him.” Details to celebrate Keith’s life are as follows: 📅 Thursday, 12 December 2024 🕐 From 1:00 PM 📍 The Pineapple Hotel – Plantation Room, 706 Main St, Kangaroo Point This is a moment to honour Keith’s incredible life and the legacy he leaves behind.
