  • This Christmas, you can make a difference. The story of Nadia and her two little girls reminds us that for some, the holidays are filled with struggle rather than joy. But you can help change that. Your donation to AnglicareSA’s Christmas Appeal helps provide comfort, relief, and lasting support to families who need it most. Together, we can bring hope and a brighter future to those facing hardship. Will you please help? #ChristmasAppealASA24 Donate now: https://lnkd.in/g9bpSYAQ

  • A brand-new book will be waiting under the Christmas tree for more than 1,000 children, teenagers, and adults this festive season, thanks to Playford Library's Give the Gift of Reading (GTGOR) drive. We thank the local Playford community for donating books to the drive, which were included in AnglicareSA's Christmas Hampers for individuals and families in need. We also thank Adelaide Hills Councill, which donated close to 180 books for our Christmas Hampers through its own GTGOR drive. While donations for this year’s Christmas Hamper drive have closed, there are still opportunities to support members of the community in need this Christmas by donating to our Christmas Appeal. • Last month, 12 young people from our Launch180 and Post Care Pathways programs enjoyed a cruise from Glenelg to Marino Rocks, using the prize money from Post Care Pathway's win at the Anglicare Australia Awards earlier this year. Aboard the cruise with Temptation Sailing Temptation Sailing, the young people chatted, laughed, and shared their stories as they followed the Adelaide coastline. Jenna Masi, Leaving and Post Care Manager, said the cruise was an opportunity to create positive, lasting memories that many of them had never had the chance to experience. “For these young people, this trip was more than just sailing. It was a real possible moment of healing and a rare opportunity to create new memories, ones that they can cherish and look back on with joy.” Big thank you to all who helped make the trip possible, in particular CEO Grant Reubenicht, Anglicare Australia, and award sponsor Ansvar Insurance Australia. This holiday season, we were reminded of the power of community and generosity. We would like to thank everyone who rolled up their sleeves and volunteered their time these past few months to sort, pack, and distribute food and toy hampers to families in need. From sorting toys and food to loading sleighs (otherwise known as the Hope Van!), we're so grateful for every helping hand who helped provide more than 1,000 hampers and 2,000 toys to families in need. We were fortunate to have volunteers help us from: - Beyond Bank Australia - Deloitte - Department for Energy and Mining, South Australia - ElectraNet Pty Ltd - St Peter's College - AnglicareSA - ...and many more companies and businesses We also thank the schools, community groups, CMV Group, and our supporters for getting involved and donating to the Hamper and Toy Drive - because of you, so many families will have a brighter holiday season. #ChristmasHampersASA24

    Financial Wellbeing at AnglicareSA

Taking part in Anglicare’s 2024 Christmas Hamper Drive has been an incredibly meaningful way to give back to the community during the holiday season. I’ve been involved in packing, collecting, and organizing the hampers, and the experience has been truly humbling.

  • AnglicareSA's Home Care Services has taken out a coveted Gold award in the 2025 Quality Service award survey. Commissioned by Reader's Digest Australia, the survey is conducted by Catalyst Research, an independent market research company, and involved surveying Australians about how they would rate organisations across five key pillars of customer service. The highest-rated company of each category, including AnglicareSA, was awarded the status of Gold Winner. Executive General Manager of Aged Care Services, Frank Weits, said the award was recognition of AnglicareSA’s commitment to continually evolve and develop its care and services. “We have listened to our customer feedback and kept current on what is happening in our sector, ensuring what we provide is evidence-based, quality-focused, and enabling people to live at home, stay connected to their communities and remain as engaged as possible in the activities they choose,” he said.
