  • 🎅 This Christmas, we’re reminded of the power of theatre – a place where dreams come alive, laughter and tears intertwine, and wonder takes centre stage. 🎄Help keep the magic of theatre alive and consider supporting Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation's 2024 Giving Tree by hanging a silver or gold heart in the Festival Theatre or Dunstan Playhouse. Donate $5, $25 or $50 and together, we can ensure that the magic and wonder of theatre continues to inspire the artists and audiences of tomorrow. https://bit.ly/4eyAdIl

  • The inaugural Flinders University ‘International Symposium: Leadership in the Arts, Culture and Creative Industries’ took place last week. Held in partnership with Adelaide Festival Centre and our Arts Leadership Program, the event brought together leading figures from the arts and education sectors across the Asia-Pacific region. The Symposium was officially opened by ABC Chair Kim Williams, who delivered a captivating keynote address on the importance of music in society and the role of cultural institutions in shaping the future. The event provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring innovative approaches to arts leadership. “History lives here. Culture lives here. Imagination and creative aspiration live here. Democracy lives here. The future, if we do our job well, will come from here and from similar institutions around Australia.” Kim Williams, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).

  • We’re excited to launch Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation Vanguard, a bold new community of young arts enthusiasts and emerging philanthropists dedicated to shaping the future of the arts in South Australia. On Sunday, we kicked off the launch hosted by Vanguard Ambassador Jasmin Shahin. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this exciting new initiative. Vanguard is a place where passionate individuals come together to make a real impact—supporting and nurturing the arts that make our state so vibrant and diverse. 📸 : Naomi Jellicoe
