In November, seven teams mo-ed up to help change the face of men’s health through Movember. A&G team members came together to participate in a webinar with Movember ambassador, Rory McHugh. We also hosted sausage sizzles across all our Queensland sites and raised over $12,000, which will be dollar-matched by A&G! Last week, the team celebrated the opening of our improved Non-Drive Hub, with an official ceremony, ribbon cutting, site tour and of course some end of year festivities. Check out some photos below.

Our Australian team members recently burned up the dance floor at our ‘Disco Inferno’ themed annual celebration, where everyone boogied the night away in endless sequins, glitter and 70s hair dos! This festive season, 3.7 million Queenslanders are struggling to put food on the table… which is why Wesley Mission Queensland runs its annual Red Bag Appeal, bringing festive cheer to families doing it tough. The appeal aims to distribute more than 3,000 red bags filled with essential groceries, toys and Christmas treats. It’s become an important annual event, with families in need relying on it every Christmas. We’re happy to  support this brilliant cause. Some of our team literally got their hands dirty, participating in a Clean Up Australia Ltd Day at Woody Point beach and Crockatt Park in Redcliffe, close to our North Lakes office. They helped clean up these beautiful local spots, making them even more enjoyable for everyone. At A&G, we believe in giving back to our communities. Team members receive one paid day of leave every financial year to volunteer for a cause that supports the local communities in which we live and work. #autogeneral #community

We recently joined Women In Digital for their annual awards night, celebrating the achievements of inspiring women in digital. As part of our commitment to fostering diversity in technology, A&G was proud to sponsor the Innovator of the Year Award and have 20 of our team members attend the event. Congratulations to the winner of the Innovator of the Year Award, Dr. Padma Gadiyar! Padma was recognised for developing Smilo, a groundbreaking digital health platform that leverages AI to make dental care more accessible and affordable. This week members of our team celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights. Our Diwali celebrations are proudly organised and championed by our team members and has become an annual tradition at A&G. Our team recently had an inspiring day volunteering with PCYC Queensland Deception Bay and TRACTION . Not only did the team get involved in fun activities like boxing and building a bike, they also had the chance to learn more about the incredible work these two organisations do to empower and support young people in the local community. A&G has been a proud partner of PCYC Deception Bay since 2018.
