In the end, it must be fun... 🎄Our annual Christmas movie brings the party. But not just when it is broadcasted - the fun starts much earlier, during the production. The fact that our Umdasch Group Management Board sends its Christmas message to all employees via a funny video has meanwhile become a tradition. “What will it be this year?” Many people have been asking themselves this since fall. The fact is: our top management is highly motivated and gives its best every year. Sorry, the video is exclusively for our employees😔😊 It’s our management's way of thanking them for their contribution to a tough but successful year 2024 and to show them their respect. Nevertheless, we would like to share a few making-of impressions with our customers and partners - and wish them a Merry Christmas too. Inspiring tomorrow's talents: A hands-on adventure at our headquarters! 🚀 Last week, students from Neue Mittelschule Aschbach visited our headquarters for an exciting day dedicated to exploring careers in technology. The students had the unique opportunity to discover a variety of technical apprenticeships, gaining insights into both office-based and hands-on roles in metal and wood production. From exploring our facilities to participating in interactive demonstrations, they experienced first-hand how innovation and craftsmanship come together to shape the construction industry. 🛠️ This visit was part of the Company School Year initiative, launched by the MINTality Stiftung and supported by Umdasch Group. The program aims to ignite interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields and highlight the diverse career opportunities available in technology and engineering. From 42 Vienna intern to Team Member 🚀 We are delighted to welcome Mouayad-Bellah Mansour as a new member of the Umdasch Group. Mouayad came to Austria in 2018, is currently studying at 42 Vienna, is a passionate soccer coach - and now part of our team. After completing a successful six-month internship at the Umdasch Group, he is now starting a permanent position where he will help drive digitalization projects. ➡What is 42? 42 Vienna trains the next generation of top programmers and IT experts using an innovative learning model: no teachers, no books and free of charge. 42 was founded in France and is now represented at 56 locations worldwide 🌍. Kickoff for the New Company School Year: Experiencing Engineering Up Close! 🌟 Our colleagues and role models Anja Avender, Leonie Westermayr and Tamara Stockinger visited the Neue Mittelschule Aschbach last week and gave the students an exciting insight into their careers as engineers in our division Doka. Creativity and hands-on experience took center stage: Using sand and molds, the students explored how and why formwork is essential in construction. The highlight? They got to try their hand at assembling a mini formwork model, stepping into the shoes of little builders. A lively quiz about Doka added even more knowledge and fun! The company school year, initiated by the MINTality Stiftung and supported by the Umdasch Group, offers us a wonderful opportunity to make technology and engineering tangible for young people - especially to inspire girls to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)👩🔧 Together, we aim to break down stereotypes, spark curiosity, and provide a glimpse into future career paths. Christine Fasching, Head of Sales & Engineering for the NAMLAM region at Doka, has exemplified this throughout her career. "My journey with the Umdasch Group began in July 2008, and it has been an incredible adventure ever since.
