Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst II includes increasing responsibility and oversight of other functions in accounts payable.
This role includes the monitoring of certain key ledger accounts.
Responsibilities:
This role is specific to month end duties including reporting, accruals and other various vendor payment responsibilities.
Enhance documentation on various accounts payable processes
Evaluate and propose efficiencies to various accounts payable processes
Month End Reporting - Deadline specific
Month End Accruals - Deadline specific
Virtual Credit Card Program management
Urgent Check requests
Check cancelations/reissue
Positive Pay management
Backup - Escheatment
Backup - Annual 1099's
Vendor payment research and resolution
Audit requests as needed
Special projects to streamline, drive efficiency, and root cause analyses
Keep manager informed of any major concerns or issues
Other assignments and responsibilities as assigned by AP Manager
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Minimum 1-3 years of Accounting experience
Accounting degree
Advanced in Excel (VLookup, pivot tables, etc.
)
Preferred Qualifications
SAP or other ERP systems preferred
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to follow through with tasks to completion
Ability to prioritize key tasks
