Version 5.3.14
You asked (a while ago) and we've listened! Not only can you Group, you can now even Ungroup. Tap the Layer Group to find it in the Layer Options menu.
This update also brings a multitude of bug fixes.
• Importing large PDF files into the Gallery will no longer cause a crash.
• The secondary component of a Dual Brush will display at the correct size when Dynamic brush scaling is toggled off.
• Repeated crashing of the Color Panel caused by errant palettes will no longer interrupt your flow.
• Merging down on a Clipping Mask when Animation Assist is active won’t close the app.
• The Remove function in Selections is now removing instead of adding.
• Things will continue to run smoothly if layers are dragged from a large canvas into another artwork.
Work on our next major update is well underway and it's all about everyone's most important tools; brushes.

Plz fix bugs, add a text tool and shape tool
This is the superior digital art program for iPad, but it’s missing a few fundamental features that nearly all others have to offer! I have to edit my comic pages in another app for text and speech bubbles. I would like to shortcut this step by just having a complete app. Give me proper shape tools and text tools! Selection is too much of a hassle and the auto shape function doesn’t create perfect shapes about 80 percent of the time. Though it’s a handy tool, I want a conventional shape tool as well.
Secondly, the app has been acting really weird on me lately. When I open the app, it opens a completely random file as opposed to opening me up to the main selection menu. That is annoying, but doesn’t prevent me from using the app unlike this next one.
When I add a new layer, the app freezes up and crashes. And I’m not using an excessive amount of layers, the resolution is small too. Sometimes when I’m switching from eraser back to pen or changing layers, my pen size suddenly gets ginormous. I have to undo the line and then do a scribble to fix it. It’s extremely annoying. Not very much of an inconvenience until it happens frequently enough for me to notice, and I just wish it would end bc I must have wasted accumulated hours just scribbling to fix the pen back to its proper size. The app didn’t always treat me this way, so I’m not sure what changed. But I want it to work as seamlessly as it did almost a year ago.

The issues you're experiencing with freezes and crashes though sound quite worrying. Do you possibly have a video of these happening that you could send through to support.procreate.art? We would like to have a look into this for you. 💜
Amazing! Just one problem.
Hey! I’ve used this app for like 2 1/2 or 3 months now, and I've noticed maybe two issues, not very major. #1 problem: The smudge is the iron bars brush. I don’t know if it's just mine or maybe I don’t know how to use it but it's just the iron bars brush and doesn’t smudge very well.
Aside from that, nothing seems to be the problem with it, functions amazingly, and has lots of options. The only other thing is you should add a lasso or selection tool if you don’t already have those. I haven’t found them if you have. But yeah, those are the only complaints I have, sorry if this sounded greedy or whatever, it is not a major issue for me. But I do think a lot of people would like it if you added the lasso and the smudge is just a bit weird. Is it meant to be like that or is it a wip? Or maybe I just don’t know how to use complicated things, I'm not gonna be picky about it though. Love it, and 10/10 would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes art, lots of customization options in the setting so it is perfect for beginners, pros, and anyone who likes to draw really, and it's super cheap as well, you just buy it and what’s done is done, no additional charges or anything! Hope this isn’t too long, but it is amazing work, I appreciate it, and you don’t have to add or change anything if you don’t want to. Sorry if this was a waste of time because I’m dumb and can’t find things or don’t know how to use things. Love everything you’ve done though! XX!
