Ratings and Reviews
Amazing game
Its a capybara themed roguelite with autobattle/ idle game elements, good things coming together create an amazing thing! In all seriousness, the game is designed well - it doesnt overwhelm the user with icons all at once but rather reveals features one by one. The gameplay is hard enough to be engaging but not too hard to put off users. Creating good synergies is a pure dopamine hit, but I often wish I could take runs endless instead of beating the chapter and quitting - not being able to realize the full potential of my combo. Ive only seen two minor bugs so far - a word being in chinese and opening the progress rewards at the same time as starting the adventure. The gameplay is very entertaining and cute, and as a new game it has amazing potential for greatness on top of the fun gameplay that it has now.
Game of the Year!
"Capybara Go!" is an absolute masterpiece and easily deserves Game of the Year! From the moment I started playing, I was hooked by its charmingly simple mechanics and the adorable capybaras that make every moment of gameplay a joy. The open-world exploration feels vast and immersive, yet comforting, as you wander through lush environments with your capybara companions. The game’s balance between relaxing exploration, light puzzle-solving, and fun challenges keeps things fresh and exciting without ever feeling overwhelming.
The visuals are stunning, with vibrant landscapes and beautifully designed creatures that truly bring the world to life. The soundtrack is soothing and perfectly complements the calm vibe of the game, enhancing the overall experience.
"Capybara Go!" also shines with its unexpected depth. The capybara interactions are surprisingly nuanced, and the sense of progression is satisfying as you unlock new areas and customize your capybara. It’s a game that appeals to both casual gamers and those looking for something more meaningful and relaxing.
This game is pure joy from start to finish. It's not just a game; it’s an experience that reminds you of the beauty of simplicity and the wonder of nature. A perfect choice for Game of the Year—Capybara Go! is a must-play for everyone!
10/10 Game without needing micro transactions
This game is a lot of fun, I would say that this game can be played without micro transactions. I would say early game to mid game there is no need for any spending since there are a lot of S ranked items that are easier to get if you have the gems. The game does do a pretty good job of providing partial gems for achieving certain milestones. Although there are a couple of Gacha mechanics that do provide better gear with the gems/tickets from the micro transactions even when it is not fully necessary. Regardless of that I would 100% recommend since it is not a PTW game and has a lot of really fun events that everyone can enjoy.
