Too many clicks and typing needed to sell shares using the app

On the plus side you can again (they’ve twice blocked it in the past) logon with the app whilst you are logged on through a browser - as you can’t have two browser windows open to be checking one thing whilst also doing another thing - this is important.
Also on the plus side strange as it seems, fund prices are updated more reliably in the app than on the website…should be updated once a day but times are seemingly random and some days are not updated at all…go figure…
Shame the secure message support is so poor and the people on the phone have to refer to the back office for so many things, you can spend weeks pinging messages back and forward with a 2 day delay each time until you give up asking.
Great value platform though.

User Experience and Design matters

I’m quite new to ii. It was recommended by some friends. I have to say it’s ok, mostly functional, but dissapponting that so many of my issues feel like a lot of minor fixes that shouldn’t exist.

Everyone’s comments on here are right. There are login issues and refresh of content issues. My main gripes are that it’s also a bland experience. I know these things might not matter to all, but other apps have way better considerations to design and aesthetic. Revolut for example (which I wouldn’t use as an investment platform) is far more visually rich and structured at presenting data. There also needs to be some real UX research done in terms of over clicking to get to information that could be presented sooner. Find out what your users really need. My final gripe: I had to use a browser version to make my first trade due to additional forms needing to be completed that do not fulfill on mobile or app. I made a research list on mobile that does not appear on my browser version. That sucked.

This stuff really matters to me. It’s a case of prioritising tasks and systematically improving this app over a series of future updates that I really hope you consider. There’s a lot of potential, but it feels like this version is a few iterations away. It’s 2024, it needs to feel like a 2024 digital product. ❤️

Stoploss bug solved but…

Update June 2021: New version is a big improvement and the limit price of a stoploss order is now available after more than a year of reporting the error. Thank you. Only missing item now is a transaction history which means logging into the web version to see it. ********************* Update May 2021: Still not able to see the limit price of a stoploss order which is pretty fundamental! ************************** Wrote the review below many months ago and hoping it would be corrected in the latest update but no, it hasn’t. Such a simple thing but ii obviously can’t be bothered. ********************* There is no limit price showing on stoploss orders on the app. They are available on the website so the app has an issue. The overall value and number of shares is shown but the stoploss price is not. *********************
