cyril laurent, leader of the ambient project LAMBWOOL since 2000 has decided to create his own personal electronic project: here is LBWL.

infused with the spectral allure of forgotten film noir, this sonic palette conjures a haunting dreamscape. the tactile warmth of analog synthesis, a hallmark of a bygone era, intertwines with the brooding atmosphere of obscure 80s cinema to create a mesmerizing tapestry of sound.

these compositions, characterized by their rich, melancholic undertones and atmospheric textures, invite introspection while simultaneously transporting the listener into a realm of nocturnal intrigue. the raw quality of analog synthesizers lends a sense of depth and mystery, masterfully produced in modern electronic format.

this fusion of vintage aesthetics and cinematic noir evokes a world of shadows and suspense, where the listener becomes an unwitting protagonist in a haunting narrative.

highly influenced by martin gore solo works, tangerine dream, trentemoller and cinematic music, CROSSED PARALLELS is his first mini album and is a love message to his huge passion for vintage analog sounds and dark obscure 80's movie soundtracks.
