Position: Temporary Operations Assistant I

What you’ll be working on…
Maintaining all work orders, purchase orders, other paperwork and electronic files orderly and accurately
Responsibility for daily routing and dispatching all work orders for same day service, leaks, and emergency calls
Entering and maintaining spreadsheet for all leak orders and hit lines on mains and services
Entry of office related purchase orders for Doc-Link
Assisting all operations personnel with ECIS data as needed, as to provide the field personnel with the needed information to trouble shoot possible billing and or reception issues
Creating work orders as needed; servicing installations, meter orders and service orders
Working closely with Operation Administrative Supervisor on the distribution and tracking of all Consumer related work orders
Working in conjunction with the Customer Care Department to properly document all activities at a consumer site.
Ensuring all work orders are completed correctly & scanning to Back Office and appropriate files
Responding readily to customers’ requests and issuing all work orders timely with details of work to be done and the requested time frame
Sorting and distributing all incoming/outgoing mail
Performing all other duties as assigned by Operations Administrative Supervisor
Daily filing of all mentioned service orders
Managing Meter Upgrade requests
Regular tracking and tabulation of all service orders, purchase orders and receipts
Assisting with dispatch operations as needed
Relationships
Internal: This position works will all levels of the local division and within the Company.
The incumbent acts under the guidance of the Operations Administrative Supervisor.
External: This position may work with customers and outside vendors, and Emergency responders.
Who you are.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent
You have one to three years of clerical and office experience
You have a valid Florida Driver’s License
You possess excellent internal and external communication skills
You have excellent clerical, writing and math skills
You have knowledge of basic inventory maintenance procedures
You have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, MS Office products
