*Job Brief:*
The low voltage systems Project Manager ensures projects are completed on time and on budget, that the project's objectives are met, the stakeholders’ individual schedules are being communicated throughout the group, ensures the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the various interests involved are satisfied.
This position requires a minimum of reasonable industry technical knowledge and 2 years’ experience in a similar PM role.
This position is not intended for PMP - PMI personnel, however a CSPM or PSP is a plus.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
1.
This person must possess organizational, communication, problem-solving and trade technical skills.
2.
To communicate internally and externally with our clients, the coordination of the scheduling of technical services, and must have an intermediate understanding of general construction services.
3.
Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes in their daily schedule.
4.
Must keep adequate records of tasks and communicate openly with manager and co-workers.
5.
Must be able to work independently.
6.
Be able to travel out of State.
7.
Able to learn variety of managerial software options for ERP work, construction portals, timeline mgmt.
, schedule of values, general spreadsheet mgmt.
, etc.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
1.
Prior experience with two years of supervisory and business administrative experience in our field or relative technologies.
2.
Must have experience interfacing with technical customer service, finance, sales and operations.
3.
Must be able to demonstrate independent decision-making ability and good interpersonal skills.
4.
Must be a legal citizen or resident of the U.
S.
5.
Must possess a clean criminal record and be able to pass background checks.
6.
Must be able to possess and maintain a U.
S.
Government Public Trust Clearance.
7.
Must be able to possess and maintain any required industry licensing.
8.
Must have the ability to read and write at Basic English proficiency and compute basic math functions.
9.
Skill in dealing courteously with the public and our clients.
10.
Skill in leading the work of others.
11.
Must possess a basic understanding of general construction services while deciphering scopes of work, specifications, schedules, and floor plans in the support of installation and maintenance of Audio Visual, Communication, Electrical, Life Safety (industry specific), Electronic Security Systems (Card Access, Intrusion, Surveillance), and basic IT systems.
12.
Must possess a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and a vehicle for transportation of yourself daily to your assigned work location within the Mid-Atlantic region.
13.
Must have the ability to operate a variety of computer and smart phone programs including, but not limited to, exact or like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Smart-Sheets, project reporting/schedule mgmt.
