📢 Minimum Wage Increase Announced for 2025 📢 This past Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Council of Ministers approved a proposal to increase (index) the minimum wage starting January 1, 2025. This announcement was shared via a press release on Finance Minister Silvania's Facebook page. 🔼 New Minimum Wage Details: Current hourly rate: NAf 11.28 New hourly rate (as of Jan 1, 2025): NAf 11.72 Monthly gross minimum wage: NAf 2,029.90 Increase: 3.9%, based on the Consumer Price Index (CBS, Aug 2024 vs. Aug 2023). The proposal is now being reviewed by the Legal Affairs Department (WJZ) and the Social-Economic Council (SER).
