Our diverse staff includes Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Estimators, and Scheduling experts.
OCMI is currently conducting interviews for an part-time Construction Manager/Inspector to join our team on a federal government project located in Santa FE, NM.
Our staff for this position would need to be educated in the field of inspection, have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and be proactive.
Construction Manager/Inspector job duties include: The inspector shall inspect all work performed by the general contractor in accordance with the inspection plan to verify conformity with requirements of the construction contract.
Verify that workmanship, materials, and equipment installed by the construction contractor meet or exceed the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications.
Plan and coordinate inspections with the construction contractor to minimize impacts on construction operations and confirm that critical inspections occur as required.
Provide detailed inspection reports, weekly briefings, and meeting agendas/minutes.
Support schedule and pay application review.
Desired Skills & Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience serving as construction manager, construction inspector, construction superintendent or similar.
Prior civil construction project experience Prior federal government project experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quality Management, or a discipline related to the Design and/or Construction industries preferred.
