Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team in Rio Rancho, NM.
You will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development.
Working with other members of our team you will build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility.
You will also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

• 10 years' experience in operating wastewater treatment plants with various types of treatment such as MBR, and activated sludge • New Mexico Wastewater Operator Level 4 Certification • 5 years' experience with operating Advanced Water Treatment reinjection facilities • 5 years' experience with sanitary sewer systems and collections activities • Experience with arsenic solids treatment through wastewater solids handling facilities • Experience working with union bargaining teams and supervising union associates • Proficient performing mathematical and algebraic calculations associated with wastewater and advance water treatment • Experience with CMMS – Maintenance Connection and asset network management • Managing budgets and inventory controls • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • Valid New Mexico driver’s license with no major infractions Ideally, You'll Also Have: • Bachelor's degree Business Management • Capable of working inter-dependently and maintaining an orderly schedule • Experience with direct contact with managing client relations • Experience with multi-disciplinary utility delivery aspects and technologies • Experience with public works operations and GIS technologies • Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: The work area can involve a working environment indoors, as well as, outdoors which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required.
Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals.
Safety is of the utmost importance.
The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard, have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction.
In an 8-hour time period must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, wear and use appropriate safety equipment.
