Job responsibilities: Leads a matrixed, cross-functional team across different business units in a large organization to define and document a clear POR (plan of record) that is directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers.
Manages Projects or Programs where consistent decisions are made regarding the overall goals and objectives of significant programs or segments of the organization through all phases of the lifecycle.
Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
Comfortable with ambiguity, identify opportunities and promote decision-making principles to prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality Has decision making authority at the program level.
Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of project/program decisions and operates within the guardrails.
Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally.
Has basic understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program.
Specific job responsibilities include: Oversees and guides the Photonic ICs (PICs), Electronic ICs (EICs) and/or Fab Process development efforts from project initiation through initial production ramp.
Defines and executes our part of unprecedented new product platforms.
Works closely with external divisions, defining, executing, and deftly communicating, strategic technical program deliverables.
Creates schedules to understand work stream dependencies and sequencing.
Clearly communicates expectations for work output and completion dates to technical team members and partners.
Interface with fab, Optical design, Hardware design, FW, IC, Test, Operations, Quality, and other teams to complete product development and to enable HVM ramp.
Coordinates parallel path design efforts as contingency planning for high-risk designs.
Tracks and reports on budgets and weekly progress towards development milestones.
Motivates and inspires team members when needed to meet milestones.
Develops a strong positive work relationship with all product stakeholders, that is based on responsiveness, clear communication, and serving their specific product development needs at any given time.
Working with stakeholders drives manufacturing readiness from fab, assembly and test factory to support engineering samples and customer sample generation, wafer start planning, product quality execution strategy, capacity analysis and assembly and test site certification activities.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience.
3+ years of experience in at least one of the following: End to end High-Speed Optical component/product development, Silicon fab or Wafer level assembly process development.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years of experience working on fab process development.
3+ years of experience in program management.
3+ years of experience in Wafer Level assembly process development.
Inside this Business Group Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment.
To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.
00-$203,801.
00 *Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience Working Model This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
