Operate a variety of machinery including but not limited to Auto Insertion Machine, Cable Machine, Wave, and SCS utilized in the contract manufacturing of printed circuit boards and cable harness environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Sets up and operates a production machine such as Auto Insertion Machine, Cable Machine, Wave, SCS, PDR, PVA and Selective Solder in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Reads and interprets Customer drawing and BOM’s to select, position and secure machinery.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
Bring problems to the attention of the Manufacturing Lead, Supervisor, Manager or Safety Officer.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor.
Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned work area.
Maintains department specific records.
Works under close supervision from Production Department Supervisor.
Is consistently at work and on time.
Must adhere to company specified work schedule.
