Position: *Solution Assembly (UL-508A Control Panel Builder)*
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (full time 40 hour work week)
*Position Overview:*
At Betatron Electronics, this person directs overall plant operations ensuring the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with the company quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
Works with procurement and project management to set and prioritize the production schedule and due dates for the customers.
Manages production managers and supervisors who supervise employees in the manufacturing of company products.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include making staffing recommendations, interviewing, hiring, and ensuring proper training of employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
*Responsibilities: *
* Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
* Is the keeper of the production schedule as it relates to the actual building of products.
* Works with the team to ensure issues are identified and resolved without impacting the production schedule.
* Monitor internal suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within allowed time limits.
* Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures that support company KPI’s.
* Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation.
* Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
* Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
* Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality.
* Develop plans for the maximum utilization of materials, machines, and employees.
* Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and building and establish plant housekeeping standards.
* Review production costs and product quality; modify production and consumables to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.
