Barclays and Standard Chartered Bank were the arrangers for the bond issue. Bharti Telecom will use the proceeds for making investments and for payment of transaction-related costs in connection with such investments. “Bharti Telecom issuance across multiple tranches has demonstrated strong investor demand, particularly from mutual funds. This solid interest, spanning across tenors, highlights the confidence of domestic investors in India’s growth story, as they remain resilient and focused on long-term prospects despite global yield fluctuations,” said Venkatakrishnan Srinivasan, founder & managing partner, Rockfort Fincap LLP. Meanwhile, state-owned REC Ltd. is looking to raise Rs 6,500 crore in two tranches, with varying tenors, this week from the domestic debt capital market, sources said. REC is inviting bids for the bond issuance on November 6 and the allotment will be made on November 8. “REC has been actively raising funds through the domestic bond market to support its large borrowing programme for FY25. Ahead of their upcoming issuance on November 6, the bond market expects the cut-off pricing to be between 7.20 per cent and 7.35 per cent, contingent on the tenor, secondary market levels during the time of the issuance, and size of the issue,” Srinivasan said. “However, upward pressure on Indian bond yields has been evident due to continuous FPI outflows since October, driven by uncertainties around the US elections and rising US Treasury yields. This external environment poses potential indirect impacts on domestic corporate bond yields,” he added Rockfort Fincap LLP

Aadithyan’s passion for technology began when he was just five, sparked by his father introducing him to the BBC Typing website. By age nine, he had already created his first mobile app. At just 13, he launched Trinet Solutions, a remarkable achievement for someone his age. The company offers a range of IT services, from web and app design to tech solutions for various clients. In addition to his software development expertise, Aadithyan is skilled in logo and website design, proving his versatility. While balancing his studies, he also runs a YouTube channel, ‘A Craze’, where he shares tips on technology, coding, gaming, and web design. With plans to offer courses on Android app development, he’s even collaborating with his younger sister for video production. Though Trinet Solutions is not officially registered yet, Aadithyan, along with three school friends, has completed projects for over 12 clients. He’s also working on a class management app for his school and provides tech support to his classmates. Aadithyan’s dream is to expand Trinet Solutions globally and develop apps for iOS devices. The week of 20 to 24 May was a blur. We thought it ended too soon. It was indeed a task to drive 3 hours to and from on the Dubai - Abu Dhabi speedway, but it was equally exhilarating to interact with the audience at the ISNR (International Exhibition for Security & National Resilience). 3 days of learning, thanks to the eminent speakers like H. E Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, DR. Khawla AlHattawi, and H. E Lt. Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri (to name a few). A big shout out to the organizers of ISNR 2024, Abu Dhabi for an extremely immaculate and professional event. The ISNR is a flagship event on Security (both Physical & Cyber) and National Resilience. We had our cohorts in the event like Emergent Risk, Interpol, UAE Cyber Security Council, Rabdan Academy, and Emirate Gateway as co-exhibitors. We showcased our Digital Forensics solutions (Disk, Removable Media, Multimedia including Video and Audio, & OT/IOT forensics), GRC (CyberRiskGuard for Risk Management, and SmartComply for Compliance Management), ISO 27001/ ISO 22301/ ISO 27701 compliance offerings and a few other custom/bespoke solutions to our visitors which included Defense Attache’s, leaders from the sovereign Government in the UAE, dignitaries and officials from other countries in the Middle East and Africa, and Consulate Members and Adivsors from around the world. As the elixir from the event slowly settles and life returns to normalcy, the sweet after-flavor of the event, and the legendary Abu Dhabi hospitality stays with us.
