I'm thrilled to share the Second task for our graduation project in KAITECH BIM Diploma🎓! ‏Our task was to make TEMPLATES on Revit ,This milestone brings us one step closer to streamlining our engineering processe across all trades ,And These templates will enhance our efficiency and standardization in future projects for each discipline Requires: * Set project settings and units. * Include standardized title blocks for sheets. * Define view templates for consistency. * Provide essential families and shared parameters. * Organize sheets, views, and view naming conventions. * Configure materials, graphics, and schedules. * Establish annotation styles for clarity. * Include detailed components and legends. * Define shared coordinates if necessary. * Create custom parameters and settings to align with project requirements. Our talented team members showed great effort and collaboration to finish the work properly. Dubai Healthcare City Kalbod Studio Design Principal Architect : Mohamad Rahimizadeh Architect : Mohamad Ramezankhani Design Team :maede Moallemi ,Mohamadreza Ghasemi ,Sara Rajabi , Ziba Baghban Animation : @mohsen_moradi.cg With a futuristic approach, Dubai Healthcare City is designed by Kalbod Architects to build a multi-functional complex focusing on medical services on Dubai seashores. The creative integration of digital and sustainable architecture, geographic and social conditions of the region, and acknowledging the future needs of tourists and citizens of Dubai were the primary fuels for designing the world’s largest medical tourism center in the Persian Gulf. The project is defined in five different layers with a pedestrian-oriented approach. Each layer is dedicated to a specific use: the underwater layer consists of the main entrance, the only access route for cars and public transportation, as well as pedestrian access and public green spaces. The next level focuses on the futuristic approach of the design and is designed for predicted future transportation. Reaching the land level, the crescent-shaped site plan symbolizes the traditional Arabic architecture style and embraces the buildings; the central tower for educational and cultural uses, 14 smaller towers dedicated to medical functions, and finally, smaller buildings supporting the island’s residential needs. The last two upper levels consist of the parametrically designed suspended path providing exclusive access to the residential zones and the suspended sterile pathway that connects the medical towers. Along with all the design principles considered for Dubai Healthcare Center, the design meets the sustainable standards as the green spaces are not just dedicated to and small area but with the vertical garden idea, the vegetation grows on each terrace in the residential area with filters and soothes the harsh warm weather of the Persian Gulf.

Today, traditional Lebanese architecture is experiencing a revival, blending heritage elements with modern designs, and embracing sustainability integrated organically with the landscape. This is often achieved through architectural elements that connect interior and exterior spaces.

Here’s a glimpse into the architectural analysis process we use at AL.T for our projects. It’s fascinating how initial creative ideas evolve as research and site analysis shape and refine the design. This approach ensures our buildings are not just aesthetically pleasing but truly serve the needs of their environment and users. In Armenia, I believe developers should adopt this research-based design methodology. By thoroughly understanding the site and its context from the start, we can foresee potential challenges and provide creative solutions that enhance the project rather than constrain it. In fact, these problem-solving solutions often become the unique design highlights themselves. This process doesn’t just improve the quality of the design—it saves developers both time and money by avoiding costly mistakes down the road. ** Effect on the Quality of Construction Projects The older architects will leave due to the lack of opportunity for progression in their careers. This will create a vicious circle where the government sectors of the GCC will require architects to develop innovative designs and methods that are on par with the global standard, but they are only willing to hire architects from other countries that have already been using these innovative methods that are unfamiliar in the Middle East. The lack of experienced architects will mean that the new architecture cannot be sustained in the short term and never developed over the long term. This will also drain money from the GCC as they will be hiring foreign architects for top money and seeking consultation from foreign architectural firms. As discussed in article "Decreased Pool of Experienced Architects," the low number of architects can prove to be detrimental to the building industry as there will be no experienced architects to pass on their knowledge and expertise to the next generation. This apprenticeship-type system of learning from a respected and experienced architect is an effective way to improve the overall quality of architects in a country or region. This is due to the fact that the young architect can learn from the mistakes and successes of the older architect and can eventually develop their own methodology based on both experience and innovation. Without the mentor system, the quality of architects slowly decreases because innovation and risk-taking are punished by the architecture firm losing clients or funding on a project. The new architects will also have the added pressure of being required to take on more responsibility than they can handle due to the shrink in the number of experienced architects. An increase in responsibilities can sometimes lead to difficult situations.

Series - THE CONCEPT MASTERPLAN (Revisiting past projects) Tipaza Waterfront Development, Algeria There is always something inspiring about looking back at our work. So much of that driven energy and consuming creativity that went into the making of a given Masterplan Concept is still motivating us today. Tipaza Waterfront Development, located on the northern Algerian Coastline not far from the UNESCO archaeological site, is one example of a quick Concept Masterplan Design. Most of the Critical Projects in Riyadh applied the RIBA Plan of Work 2020 as a requirement. As a construction professional, understanding the different stages of design can make or break a project. Here are the seven RIBA stages of design: Pre-Design, Brief Development, Concept Design, Scheme Design, Technical Design, Construction, and Completion. These stages offer a comprehensive and systematic approach to the design process, ensuring that all critical aspects of the project are meticulously considered and addressed. By adhering to these stages, architects and engineers can guarantee a well-structured, comprehensive, and efficient design process, leading to successful project outcomes. (Page 40) It's important to note that the RIBA design stages differ from The American Institute of Architects (AIA) framework. Understanding and implementing these frameworks can elevate your work and ensure successful project outcomes as a construction professional. As a difference in Conceptual Design between F-35 lightening & Typhoon jet fighters in fuselage design as an example, American designs are usually bulky, even in automotive manufacturing. Just think about it . Select the most efficient and least expensive design with a unique and regenerative Conceptual Design, as Red Sea Global does. Don't mix both systems since Water & Gas can not be mixed .
