The Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 will create a baseline for cyber security across critical infrastructure assets. 💻🔐 When addressing cyber and information hazards the Security of Critical Infrastructure (Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Plan) Rules 2023 (SOCI CIRMP Rules) currently specifies five frameworks. Entities can use an alternative framework if they consider it better addresses the risk vectors threatening an entity’s critical assets. If you use an alternative framework then please specify in your CIRMP: ◽ why you have selected a specific cyber security framework not listed in the SOCI CIRMP Rules, ◽ how it is an equivalent framework, and; ◽ how you will use that framework in your risk management program.
