Navigating the road to healthcare transformation is complex and dynamic. It requires cutting-edge data and AI solutions, with platforms such as Sahatna and Malaffi (Abu Dhabi Health Information Exchange) shaping the future of healthcare innovation. However, without an adequately trained workforce, there’s little hope for advancing and successfully implementing progress. That’s why, back in May, Department of Health Abu Dhabi launched a Global AI Healthcare Academy in partnership with MBZUAI (Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence). Our aim is to provide an AI-trained workforce capable of advancing diagnostic and operational efficiency, significantly improving patient care, and streamlining processes. We kicked off the first session of the Global AI Healthcare Academy with 150 healthcare professionals from Abu Dhabi last week, eager and excited to engage in our group training programmes and courses. It was an exciting step forward in our ongoing journey within health innovation.
