This week, we launched the first metaverse for government services in the Middle East. The Dhofar Governorate of Oman, who has been leading on e-government innovation, released it during COMEX: Global Technology Show 2024, one of the best regional tech events. This is a testament that innovation isn’t about the hottest tech, but about its adequate utilization to solve essential pain points and grab strategic opportunities. This is what DIEM, our company, is about: to make the ideas of our clients come to life, as real products, at record speed. A big kudos to our great partners Narsun Studios Umer Abbas as this was all done in 4 weeks. And to our own product and experience chiefs Peter Obeid and Zahraa Assaf for leading it all 💪🏻🙌🏻 Here’s the trailer of the very first version :). Citizens will interact with avatars of municipality agents to query about services, initiate them, find fellow citizens facing similar needs or problems to get support from them: the true community value of Web3.
