Gen AI projects are taking off across the globe, and GCC organizations are investing heavily in their own gen AI efforts. Almost 75 percent of all respondents in our GCC gen AI survey said their organizations were using it in at least one business function, versus 65 percent in a similar global survey. Yet only some are seeing much benefit. Those who are—the value realizers—are not just adopting AI but also rewiring their organization to extract more value and scale gen AI implementation. We took a closer look at what the value realizers are doing and lay out the key priorities for GCC organizations to realize gen AI’s transformative potential. The region’s leaders offer lessons for all GCC organizations, from where the value realizers are pushing the hardest to the technology, data, talent, operating models, and risk management practices they’re adopting.
