Leading the way, the # Dubai government has appointed 22 Chief AI Officers \(CAIO\) to various entities. This aligns with HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision: "Human beings, their ideas, innovations, dreams, and connections, are the capital of the future. Because where great minds go today, great things will follow tomorrow.” From what I can see, the eight-pointed star, also known as the "Seal of Solomon," symbolises God's throne and can be used to describe the AI-enabled government activities in Dubai. Notable features of this framework include \~ • Leadership: Dubai is setting a global benchmark in AI-driven governance, inspiring other governments worldwide. • Efficiency: Every Chief AI Officer will improve the availability and quality of public services by streamlining operations. • Data-Driven Decisions: Dubai will leverage predictive insights for proactive governance by democratising city and public data. • Economic Growth: The CAIOs will rev up the local AI scene, which means new businesses, more jobs, and a more diverse economy overall. • Enhanced Security: AI's enhanced cybersecurity procedures better protect government data and infrastructure. • Sustainability: AI helps Dubai achieve its Smart City ambition by reducing waste and making better use of natural resources. • Transparency and Trust: By providing citizens with responsive and personalised government services, AI officers will increase trust and transparency. • AI Education: Dubai’s AI University is a magnet for top minds from around the world, and its innovative culture is helping to shape the next generation of AI leaders. During the annual UAE government meetings, which focused on the themes of identity, family and #AI, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the UAE FDI strategy that will help the country attracts 1.3 trillion AED by 2031. His highness mentioned 5 areas of focus to achieve the above. “This will be achieved through five strategic directions: attracting new investments in priority sectors, expanding FDI in existing projects, strengthening international partnerships, enhancing investor relations, and boosting the UAE's overall competitiveness,” A bold move by the country to maintain its leadership position as the place of aspirations and opportunities. I can clearly say that in the area of #AI, the UAE has already started to attract significant investments. Microsoft $1.5B investment in G42 as well as our commitment to bring our engineering foot print to the UAE, are already encouraging many other global companies to invest here.

The UAE has significantly increased its investment pledge in India to an impressive $100 billion, surpassing the earlier goal of $75 billion. As the seventh largest FDI contributor to India, the UAE has invested approximately $19 billion between April 2000 and June 2024. 🌍💼 During the recent 12th meeting of the India-UAE High Level Task Force on Investments, discussions focused on setting up food parks in India exclusively for UAE markets.
