For months, Khaled experienced intense pain in his left leg, often waking him up at night. After X-rays and scans confirmed a benign bone tumor called an osteoid osteoma, Dr. Michael Uglow FRCS Tr and Orth performed a minimally invasive procedure to remove it. Using a tiny percutaneous technique, he placed a wire in the center of the tumor and destroyed it with a drill.
