At #COP16 in Riyadh, global leaders gathered to tackle the urgent challenges of land degradation and drought. While the outcomes sparked debate, one fact remains clear: these environmental issues have deep human consequences. Ukraine is now the most mined country in the world, with 23% of its land at risk of contamination with landmines and unexploded ordnance.       But there are lots of people dedicating their time to change this, including CTG Mine Action Officer Ihor Shevstov.       UNDP recently covered the comprehensive efforts of deminers and technical survey dogs to clear the land in Ukraine and make it safe again.
