A report was released by TMZ, which featured input from New Orleans Vampire Association (NOVA) co-founder Belfazaar Ashantison and Endless Night Vampire Ball founder Father Sebastiaan.
Ashantison urged the couple to take proper precautions before drinking each other's blood. This includes testing for potential diseases and blood-borne illnesses, from which, he says, vampires are not immune.
Endless Night Vampire Ball also urges Fox and MGK to be safe with their blood-drinking, specifically regarding withdrawing blood.
As previously reported, Fox noted in a recent Glamour UK interview that she and MGK do indeed "consume each other's blood on occasion, for ritual purposes only."
Father Sebastiaan said he was concerned about Fox's comments regarding MGK being less controlled when he withdraws his blood. Fox told Glamour:
"He's much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he's willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, 'Take my soul.'"
Ashantison added that most vampires do extensive research on their blood donors before using even the slightest drop. He shared it took him six months to get to know his blood donor and feel comfortable drinking their blood, and they still get tested every three months.
While Ashantison and Father Sebastiaan admit they don't know all the details of MGK and Fox's blood ritual, they agree: 'If done safely, it's acceptable for consenting adults.'
Fox and MGK began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of an indie film titled "Midnight In The Switchgrass" after Fox separated from her husband of over a decade, Brian Austin Green.
