Miley Cyrus is performing along with many other music artists for a Peacock concert event that celebrates pride through music.
The event will provide viewers with a front row seat and backstage access to performances from Miley Cyrus, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, and many more. Check out the exclusive music video for "My Heart Beats For Love" in the video above.
Cyrus was very excited to take the lead in this concert as she is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and wanted to properly represent the community on stage.
The pride special will be available to stream on Peacock this Friday, June 25th. Cyrus is going to be singing many of her fan-favorite hits along with many covers, including a Madonna medley.
The hour-long concert was filmed in Nashville and is supported by GLAAD. GLAAD is an organization that focuses on entertainment, news, and digital media to forward LGBTQ+ stories. The organization has done amazing work for decades and Cyrus was excited to meet with Anthony Allen Ramos, GLAAD's Head of Talent, to explain what this concert meant to her.
"My vision for the STAND BY YOU concert special was to really reflect the LGBTQ community on the stage. It was my honor, it was my privilege to stand there and to represent an entire community, and I wanted to make sure I served it justice, which is what we demand!"
The show will be a great way to end pride month 2021 and we could not have asked for a better headliner!
