Our second annual study looking at the meaning of value, offers a unique look at what clients genuinely care about, from their service expectations to their ideas of value for money.
We aim to provide new insights into what consumers perceive as value when purchasing products or services, and what they value most from advisers. This report explores both client and adviser perspectives showing there is a great deal of alignment between both on what constitutes value.
Key findings from our report
- Two-thirds of consumers reported ratings of 7 and above when it comes to getting good value from their financial adviser, compared to 54% in 2023. This positive increase in consumer sentiment highlights the growing trust and satisfaction with advisers.
- 45% of consumers who have an adviser say that investment performance is the most important factor when assessing overall value for money.
- Consumers value good service (40%) and trust (36%) the most when it comes to their financial services providers.
