Finn of Tomland Now this sounds like a very promising start of a new label i must say.
A compilation on 2xLP with artists that i haven't heard before and to be frank, there's not a bad track on it and that is a feat that not many labels manages to pull off.
I'm so going to order this on vinyl from a shop in Europe to save money on shipping and maybe VAT.
Highly recommended for everyone interested in expanding their ears to the sound from below aka Australia spanning from Drone to IDM.

The twinkling flute of the mind The certainty Some otherworldly administrator has their finger on the pulse But still the pipe splinters in her mouth The world I want would be celestial, wet. All Limbs next to the window in the terminal We’re both watching my Business cherry popping, bored. It’s blocking the doorway. Normally I like piglets, but not this time From up in the air I can see the crop circles, the shame groundswell I fantasised that I had tragic fading connections pluming behind the plane like chemtrails Tiny CGI whisps streaming from my heart, static in the air long enough to be seen “Saved” by antihistamines and blank with dirty shoes that don’t touch the ground ‘Impossible to trace’ leads to ‘am I ever anywhere?’ Waiting in pigeon pose to see the Spanish Dancer, Reminiscing on decades of pied piper responsibility. Pied piper for the caterpillars. Pied piper for the twinkly. Fortunately the Guru harmonium made its way to York Possibly even New York, or even the unattainable queer horizon Helping it vibrate Throwing bog laps around the cappuccino strip. A beautiful fish is on board. ‘The head needs cleaning today’ remarks Anna, The shiny red ones clean themselves, but they are ugly. There is only beauty in reaching, Only ever beauty in fading in and out twinkling

about

A glass half-full. The World I Want Would Be Celestial, Wet is the first full-length release from record label, Absorb. The eagerly awaited compilation features acclaimed and lesser-known artists, presenting thirteen works made between 2020 and 2021. Crucially, the double LP serves as a timestamp of a very special chapter of contemporary experimental music being made in Naarm (Melbourne) and its surrounds. Taken in, soaked up, gleaming.
