Reports to: President/CEO – administrative; Vice President of Quality – clinical care; and Clinic Director - operations.
Status: 80 hours EXEMPT per two week pay period
Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours:40 hours

Job Summary
The provider provides for overall coordination of clinical services including direct patient care.
The provider preforms clinical skills and practices in accordance with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations, and HRMC policies and procedures.
Has responsible to appropriate Medical Staff committees and MEC regarding clinical requirements and privileges.
This position reports to President/CEO regarding administrative responsibilities and Vice President of Quality – regarding clinical care and the Clinic Director for day to day operations.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited PA or nurse practitioner program and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Maintain current certification from Drug Enforcement Administration and SD Controlled Substance Registration.
Licensed and currently registered as a PA or nurse practitioner in the State of South Dakota.
Nurse Practitioner is registered with the South Dakota Board of Nursing
BLS is required classes/certifications for competency in the Physicians Clinic.
Physical demands necessitate frequent assistance of patients which requires knowledge and proper use of body mechanics in all phases of patient care.
Constantly requires a high degree of social sensitivity and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, groups of clients, and health care personnel within and outside the agency.
Proceeds on own initiative, exercises independent judgement.
Demonstrates leadership abilities; possesses good oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling, talking, hearing and moderate lifting (exerting/lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly) of clients and equipment.
Risks exposure to communicable or infectious disease and injury from performance of assigned duties.
Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change) and to atmospheric conditions (one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation).
