Federal Postal Services Commission PostCom

PostCom ensures that a high-quality universal postal service is provided and is committed to the sustainable development of the postal market. PostCom informs the population about its activities and proposes concrete measures to the Federal Council for the fulfilment of its tasks.

The Commission is composed by seven members elected by the Federal Council, and is supported by a specialized secretariat. PostCom is an independent supervisory body and is only administratively associated with the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy, and Communications (DETEC).
