What's the Cost of Membership?
We offer a variety of membership types to meet the community's diverse needs, including:
- U.S. Institutional Membership

EDUCAUSE membership runs on an annual cycle from July 1 through June 30. The annual fee is due on June 30, and organizations are welcome to join at any point of the year at a prorated dues amount.
Membership dues are based on the following criteria.
Membership Type | What Dues Are Based On |
---|---|
U.S. Institutions | 2010 Carnegie class and institutional expense—pricing designed to welcome organizations of all sizes and types in our community. |
U.S. Institutional Systems | Same as U.S. institutions plus a 15% discount for organizations with three or more members within the system. |
U.S. Institutional System Administration Office | Flat fee of $2,226. |
International Institutions | Student FTE counts (self-reported). |
Nonprofits and K–12 | Flat fee of $2,226. |
Corporations | Flat fee of $3,645. |
Emerging Technology Companies | Flat fee of $907. Available to early-stage emerging technology companies that have been in business five years or less and employ fewer than 30 staff members, with revenue under $5M. This membership can be held for a maximum of five years. |
Consultants | Flat fee of $612. Available to independent consultants or consulting firms with no more than a total of two employees. |
