Background images can give pages a good look, but also slow them down. Each background image is an additional HTTP request. There is a solution: Combine background images in a CSS sprite. But creating sprites is difficult, requires obscure knowledge and a lot of trial and error. SpriteMe eliminates problems with a simple click of a button.
