Eiji Hayashi is a HCI research scientist in the Interaction Exploration team at Meta Reality Labs, leading a program on Human AI Interaction for wearable AI devices.
Formaly, Eiji was leading a HCI team in Advanced Technology and Project at Google. He worked on research and development of a wide range of areas including DNN model development, prototyping, and interaction model ideations for sensing technologies, including millimeter wave radar sensors, from early proof of concepts to productizations.
Eiji received a Ph.D. degree from Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Jason I. Hong.
